On a Sunday afternoon, February 27, 2022, the life of 21-year-old Dakota Jovan McGee of Lawrenceville, Georgia, was tragically cut short. The incident unfolded around 3:45 p.m. near the intersection of Macland Drive and McCart Road in Gwinnett County. Gwinnett County police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting in the area.
