Dakota Jovan McGee, a 21-year-old male from Lawrenceville, Georgia, tragically lost his life on February 27, 2022. The incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. near the intersection of Macland Drive and McCart Road. Gwinnett County police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting in the area. Upon arrival, officers found Dakota McGee and another male, both in their 20s, suffering from gunshot wounds. McGee was transported to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
