In the pre-dawn hours of Sunday, September 30, 2018, a dispute in a Lawrenceville, Georgia, apartment complex parking lot escalated to a fatal conclusion. Marlon Walker, a 32-year-old male, was found by Gwinnett County police officers with at least one gunshot wound to his chest in the parking lot of the Durant at Sugarloaf apartments on St. Marlowe Drive.
