Howard L. Sewell, a 35-year-old African American male, was tragically found shot to death on May 30, 2016, in an apartment located on Roswell Road in Marietta, Georgia. Investigators revealed that Sewell had been lured to the apartment under the pretense of a robbery. His decomposing body was discovered in Paulding County nearly four days later. The autopsy indicated that Sewell had died from multiple gunshot wounds, with at least four bullets found in his body.
