Lekeshia Moses, a 16-year-old African American girl, tragically lost her life on July 1, 2016, in Columbus, Georgia. The incident occurred at the Wilson Apartments, where she was shot in the face. The shooting happened on a Friday morning, and Lekeshia was immediately taken to Midtown Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
