In the early morning hours of October 22, 2016, in Jonesboro, Georgia, the lives of 11-year-old Tatiana Coates and her 15-year-old brother, Daveon, were tragically cut short. The siblings were shot and killed as they slept in their beds during a violent home invasion on Libby Lane. Several other children, ranging in age from six to thirteen, were also in the home at the time but were not physically harmed.
