Dontavius Maurice Morrison, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on January 2, 2019, in Jonesboro, Georgia. The incident occurred on Lakeview Way during a heated argument. Morrison was shot and killed by Ashanti Leandrea Dorsey, a 21-year-old woman who was known to be involved in prostitution. The altercation escalated quickly, leading to Morrison's death. Dorsey also fired shots at another man during the incident, but he managed to escape unharmed.
