In the early morning hours of March 26, 2024, a catastrophic event unfolded in Baltimore, Maryland, that claimed the life of Carlos Daniel Hernandez Estrella and five of his colleagues. The men were part of a construction crew diligently filling potholes on the Francis Scott Key Bridge when the massive container ship, the Dali, lost power and collided with one of the bridge's support piers.
