David Allen Fritts, a 33-year-old White male, tragically lost his life on January 20, 2017, in Newnan, Georgia. His death, which was ruled a homicide, was the result of a gunshot wound. The events of that Friday evening unfolded when a vehicle registered to Fritts was discovered after it had crashed into a utility pole, an incident that also triggered a power outage in the vicinity. Upon their arrival, first responders found Fritts inside the vehicle, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
