Tamario Jenkins, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 26, 2020, in Newnan, Georgia. Jenkins had recently moved to Georgia from Louisiana and was residing in Grantville at the time of his death. On the afternoon of August 26, officers responded to a call about gunfire in the neighborhood and found Jenkins on the floor of a home on Meadowbrook Drive with a gunshot wound. He was immediately taken to Piedmont Newnan Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
