Sammy Watson, a 20-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 4, 2017, in Atlanta, Georgia. His body was discovered near a fence at the former location of Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School on Hosea L. Williams Drive. The police responded to the scene at approximately 5:42 p.m. after witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots in the vicinity of the Edgewood Court Apartments on Hardee Street.
