In the quiet, early morning hours of May 8, 2017, a violent home invasion shattered the peace in Unadilla, Georgia, tragically ending the life of 29-year-old Travis Daniels, an African American male. At approximately 3:19 a.m., emergency services were dispatched to his residence following reports of a shooting. Daniels was discovered with a gunshot wound to his chest and was airlifted to a medical facility in Macon, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation that
