Rita Henon, a 49-year-old woman from Milledgeville, GA, was tragically shot and killed on May 23, 2017. The incident occurred at the K&C Short Stop on Sparta Highway NE in Milledgeville. Henon, who was exiting the store, was ambushed and shot in the head by David Renfro, who had been hiding behind an ice machine.
