Dorothy Hightower, a 41-year-old African American woman, was tragically murdered on July 12, 1987, in Milledgeville, Georgia. She was found shot to death in her home along with her two stepdaughters, 22-year-old Sandra Reaves and 19-year-old Evelyn Reaves. The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 a.m. at their residence on McKinley Street.
