Randy Lamont Diamond, a 44-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on June 17, 2017, in Rome, Georgia. The incident occurred late at night, just before 11 PM, at the doorway of his duplex on East Main Street. The fatal shooting followed a verbal altercation earlier in the day between Diamond and Frederick Duane Driver, a 49-year-old male from Rome.
