In the early morning hours of September 9, 2017, a house party in Macon, Georgia's Unionville neighborhood turned tragic, ending the life of 26-year-old Talesha Sierra Taylor. Gunshots erupted outside the residence on Patton Avenue at approximately 3:45 a.m., and Taylor was struck at least once. She was pronounced dead about thirty minutes later, leaving behind a community in shock and a family in mourning.
