Jequan Strozier, a 17-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on May 20, 2018, in Atlanta, Georgia. The incident occurred late at night while Jequan was walking down Lake Valley Road in northwest Atlanta. According to reports, he was shot once in the chest and managed to walk a short distance to his home, where he informed his mother about the shooting.
