In the spring of 2018, the life of a promising Atlanta teenager was tragically cut short. Jequan Strozier, a 16-year-old male student at Frederick Douglass High School, was fatally shot on the evening of May 20th. The incident occurred near the intersection of Lake Valley Road and Hemphill School Road in northwest Atlanta, a short distance from his home.
