An African American woman known for her dedication to her work at Advantage Behavioral Health Systems, Jarrad was discovered with a single gunshot wound to her head. The only other person in the residence at the time was her fiancé, James Morris Anthony III, who frantically called 911 to report the incident. When police arrived at the Airport Road home, Anthony ran out to meet them, claiming that Jarrad had taken her own life.
