The initial calls to Polk County 911 reported shootings at two nearby homes. At a residence on Rome Street, law enforcement discovered the bodies of Dadrain Cummings and 24-year-old Arkeyla Perry. Just a short distance away on Williamson Street, another grim scene awaited investigators. There, they found 48-year-old Helen Rose Mitchell and 19-year-old Jaequnn Davis deceased. A fifth individual, 24-year-old Peerless Brown, was also found at the Williamson Street location with a gunshot wound to the face but miraculously survived.
