In the quiet community of Rockmart, Georgia, a tragic event unfolded on March 21, 2022, claiming the life of 30-year-old Davauntee Anthony Ramsay. The incident, a brutal triple shooting, also resulted in the deaths of two other men, 42-year-old Clinton Matthew Aiola and 30-year-old Cody Daniel Fuller.
The violence erupted in a neighborhood in the western part of Paulding County. According to investigators, it is believed that two individuals went to a residence in the Rockmart area with the intention of robbing the three victims. The encounter turned deadly, leaving two of the men, including Ramsay, dead at the scene. The third victim succumbed to his injuries over the weekend.
In the aftermath of the shooting, law enforcement launched an investigation that led to the arrest of one suspect. Carlos Favors-Battle, a 26-year-old from Douglasville, was taken into custody and is facing three counts of murder in connection with the deaths of Ramsay, Aiola, and Fuller. At the time of Favors-Battle's arrest, authorities announced that they were actively searching for a second suspect believed to be involved in the crime.
