In the early evening of Friday, March 1, 2019, a burst of gunfire shattered the routine of a bustling South Fulton, Georgia, shopping center, leaving a young man's life tragically cut short. William “Willie B” Edward Redditt IV, a 17-year-old African American male, was fatally shot multiple times in the parking lot of the Kroger-anchored shopping center on Old National Highway. The incident unfolded just after Redditt had left a barbershop within the complex.
