In the early morning hours of March 21, 2019, tragedy struck a family visiting relatives at The Park at Peachtree Apartments in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. William Thurman, a 17-year-old male, and his 25-year-old brother, Billy Roy Thurman, were in the complex's laundry room when they were fatally shot. The brothers, who had recently relocated to Gwinnett County from Gary, Indiana, with dreams of making their mark in the hip-hop music world, were simply washing clothes when the violence erupted. ...
