In the summer of 2019, the life of 31-year-old Brandon 'BG' Martin was cut short in a burst of violence on a Wednesday night in Atlanta, Georgia. On June 12th, Martin was standing outside a home in the 700 block of Cascade Avenue in the city's southwest when he was struck by gunfire. The shots rang out in what authorities described as a drive-by shooting.
