Lonnie C. Green, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on September 19, 2019, in McDonough, Georgia. The incident occurred during an argument at the apartment of his girlfriend, Aliyah Hopkins, located at Trees of Avalon. During the altercation, Hopkins, who was 26 years old at the time, shot Lonnie Green in the chest with a handgun in the living room of her apartment. Green was pronounced dead shortly after the shooting.
