In the winter of 2020, the community of Macon, Georgia, was shaken by the untimely death of Jacob Dyer, a 26-year-old male teacher and coach at Central High School. Known for his passion for sports and his dedication to his students, Dyer was a social studies teacher who also served as an offensive coordinator for the football team and an assistant coach for the baseball team.
