Omari Syncere Alexander, an 18-year-old African American male, was tragically found dead on February 24, 2020, in Long County, Georgia. His body was discovered by a motorist near a private drive on County Line Road, close to Rye Patch, around 6 p.m. that evening. The Long County Sheriff's Office quickly ruled his death a homicide, though the specific details of how he was killed were not immediately disclosed.
