In the summer of 2020, the life of 16-year-old Devaun Patton was cut tragically short in a shooting that unfolded in the parking lot of a Family Dollar on Rocky Creek Road in Macon, Georgia. The young man, a male, was fatally wounded on the evening of July 17th, following what authorities described as an altercation. He was rushed to a local hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
