Donte J. Morgan, a 39-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 8, 2020, in Atlanta, Georgia. Morgan was visiting family in Atlanta when he was shot in the chest during an attempted robbery in the West End neighborhood. According to reports, Morgan had just arrived in town earlier that day and was staying with his sister, Tiffany Lawson, and his younger brother, Gionni Matthews.
