On September 19, 2020, Daniel Jones, a 54-year-old resident of Crawford County, Georgia, was found deceased in his home following a burglar alarm alert. Upon arrival at the residence on Highway 42N, deputies discovered Jones had been killed. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was promptly involved in the investigation.
