Patrick Michael Sondron, a 41-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on November 6, 2016, in Byron, Georgia. Sergeant Sondron, a dedicated member of the Peach County Sheriff's Office, was responding to a neighbor dispute on Hardison Road, near Route 42, when the incident occurred. The dispute involved two residents riding ATVs on a roadway, who were confronted by a neighbor, Ralph Stanley Elrod Jr., who threatened them with a firearm.
