On October 5, 2020, Brandon Ricks, a 24-year-old African American male, was found dead in front of a residence on Wheylon Drive in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The Gwinnett County Police responded to a call at approximately 3 a.m. from a woman reporting that multiple people had been shot.
