On March 19, 2020, Samir Nakic, a 26-year-old male from Lawrenceville, GA, was found dead inside a house on Lockridge Lane. The discovery was made by a family member who found him unconscious and immediately called the authorities. Upon arrival, Gwinnett County police pronounced Samir Nakic dead at the scene from a gunshot wound. The circumstances surrounding his death were unclear, and homicide detectives began an investigation to determine the events leading up to the fatal shooting.
