Kareem Smalls, a 36-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 23, 2020, in Savannah, Georgia. Known affectionately in his community as "Free Lunch Baby," Kareem was found with gunshot wounds in his vehicle after a crash near Gwinnett Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard. Despite being transported to Memorial Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. The Savannah Police Department (SPD) determined that the shooting occurred in the 600 block of Draper Street.
