Kennedy McKall Maxie, a 7-year-old African American girl, tragically died on December 26, 2020, after being shot in the head while riding in a car with her family near Phipps Plaza in Atlanta, Georgia. The incident occurred on December 21, 2020, when a stray bullet struck Kennedy as she was in her aunt's Nissan.
