In the quiet community of Bishop, Georgia, the morning of March 1, 2021, was shattered by a tragic event within a family home on Riverwalk Road. Seven-year-old Maddox Levi Jones, a male student at Morgan County Primary School, was found deceased in his bedroom from a gunshot wound. The devastating discovery was made after deputies from the Morgan County Sheriff's Office responded to a distressing 911 call from the boy’s father, Douglas Jones, at approximately 7:20 a.m.
