Tammy Lakenda Walker Briggs, a 46-year-old woman, was killed by gunfire on March 14, 2021. The violence of that day also claimed the life of her 21-year-old daughter, April Williams.
Tammy, born on May 11, 1976, in Ft. Riley, Kansas, was known for her pleasant and easy-going nature.
Friends and family remembered her for her strong work ethic and a smile that never seemed to fade. Above all, she was a devoted and loving mother. A graduate of The Academy of Richmond County, she was a cherished member of her community.
