Benny Glass, a 58-year-old African American man from Lithonia, Georgia, tragically lost his life on March 31, 2021. The incident occurred during an attempted robbery, where Glass was shot inside his Jeep Cherokee. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and DeKalb County police responded to the scene after receiving reports of a person shot at the intersection of Hillandale Drive and Lithonia Industrial Boulevard. Upon arrival, they found Glass with a fatal gunshot wound.
