In the quiet of a Monday evening in Lithonia, Georgia, the life of 19-year-old Omar Johnson was tragically cut short. On February 19, 2018, Johnson was walking with three of his friends through the parking lot of the Big Miller Grove Missionary Baptist Church. The group was using the church grounds as a familiar shortcut to a nearby store on Panola Road when the sound of gunshots shattered the night.
