In the early morning hours of September 2, 2012, a promising life was tragically cut short in Northeast Baltimore. Larelle Ashlyn Amos, a 22-year-old woman, was attending a house party on the 4800 block of the Alameda. As the gathering wound down, Amos was in the front yard when she was suddenly struck in the chest by a stray bullet. The shots are believed to have been fired from a block away. She was rushed to a local hospital but sadly succumbed to her injuries.
