Justine Allison Bernard, a 19-year-old woman from Matawan, New Jersey, tragically lost her life on June 2, 2021, in Atlanta, Georgia. Justine, who was a psychology major at the University of New Haven, had just completed her freshman year and was visiting friends in Atlanta when the incident occurred. She was known for her academic excellence, having made the dean's list, and had a deep interest in criminal justice and forensic psychology.
