Elijah Javaris Alexander, a 30-year-old African American male from Moultrie, Georgia, was found dead on August 17, 2021. His body was discovered on the campus of C.A. Gray Junior High School. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) reported that Alexander was found with a handgun near his body and had suffered a gunshot wound.
