In the late summer of 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace near Carver Park in Columbus, Georgia, leaving a community in mourning and a family forever changed. On the evening of Saturday, August 21, 2021, 44-year-old Andrea Ellis was caught in the crossfire of a shooting.
