On Easter morning, March 31, 2024, the life of 17-year-old Jania Mobley was tragically cut short in Columbus, Georgia. The young woman was one of two fatalities in a shooting that occurred in the early hours of the morning.

The incident unfolded on 10th Street, where police responded to a report of shots fired. Mobley and another individual, Christopher Collins, were discovered with gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was also injured in the shooting. ...
