In the late summer of 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace in a Columbus, Georgia neighborhood, leaving a young man's life cut tragically short. Daquan Jones, a 20-year-old male, was identified as the victim of this fatal shooting, which occurred on the evening of Thursday, September 2, 2021. The incident took place in the 3000 block of an area that would become a scene of sorrow and investigation.
