Daquan Jones, a 20-year-old African American male from Columbus, Georgia, tragically lost his life on September 2, 2021. He was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head in the early hours of the morning. The incident occurred near Schaul Street and Henry Avenue, and he was pronounced dead at 12:36 a.m. by Deputy Coroner Charles Newton.
