Walter Benjamin Christopher, a 39-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 7, 2021, in Columbus, Georgia. The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. when Columbus Police responded to a shooting at 1110 Farr Road. Upon arrival, they found Walter Christopher suffering from a gunshot wound.
