Jacovian Maxwell, a 36-year-old African American male from Macon, GA, tragically lost his life on December 28, 2021. The incident occurred at a Shell gas station located at 100 South Heron Street near Eisenhower Parkway. According to reports, Maxwell was shot while near the gas pumps. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office received a call about the shooting at 6:58 p.m. Paramedics arrived promptly and transported Maxwell to Atrium Health Navicent, where he succumbed to his injuries.
