On March 25, 2022, 8-year-old Jermarrion Pachino Cherry, an African American boy from Warner Robins, Georgia, tragically lost his life in a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. on Virginia Dare Drive, where Jermarrion was waiting inside a car with several other small children.
