Janiyah Jenkins, a 4-year-old Black girl from Atlanta, was at a home on Bouldercrest Road in DeKalb County on the night of March 28, 2022, when what should have been an ordinary evening turned into a family nightmare. Police were called shortly before 10 p.m. after she suffered a gunshot wound inside the home.
