Lauren Barton, a 2-year-old girl from Savannah, GA, tragically died on August 29, 2022, as a result of a gunshot wound. The incident occurred at a residence on Alaska Street, where Lauren found a gun left behind a sofa in the garage by a 16-year-old boy. The boy, whose name has not been publicly disclosed due to his age, had brought the gun to his girlfriend's house and left it unattended.
