In the quiet, rural landscape of Sylvania, Georgia, a burst of violence on a Sunday afternoon shattered the peace and left a community searching for answers. On September 25, 2022, Roderick Denzell Jenkins, a 29-year-old male, was fatally shot on Friendship Road. The Screven County Sheriff's Office received a call about the shooting and, upon arrival, discovered Jenkins with gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local medical center, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead. ...
