Jamal Diggs, 33, a Black man from Baltimore, was found late on the night of June 15, 2013, in the unit block of North Rosedale Street, badly injured after a stabbing. The call came in around 11:45 p.m., and when officers arrived they found him suffering from multiple cuts, including wounds to his extremities, the kind of injuries that suggest a sudden, violent encounter at close range.
